In China, if you git command can’t connect to github, get this tip:
ssh: connect to host github.com port 22: Operation timed out
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.
Please make sure you have the correct access rights
maybe(and very possible) beacuse of GFW, use VPN can solve this problem.
